Anna's Story
I’m a teacher and most importantly, a lifelong student of Breathwork. I am driven by deep curiosity in how to develop and cultivate wise relationship with mind and body to optimise emotional and physical wellbeing.

As a child I grew up in a remote arctic village in Finnish Lapland, with a population consisting of only 3,800 people. I spent my early 20s studying biotechnology in Helsinki when I was scouted as a model. I packed my bags for what I expected to be a one month modelling trip to Paris, which turned into an eight year journey all over the world.

Living in fast-paced cities without a home-base and working in a highly competitive fashion industry, it was a sink or swim environment. but ultimately a great opportunity to learn resilience and to find 'home' within myself. During my adventures and my career I fell in love with psychology, yoga and meditation to help me cope with the uncertainty and challenges of life
This was until a couple of years ago when I found myself in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was on the receiving end of an unprovoked aggravated assault and was forcefully reminded of just how limited our time here can be. After the incident my struggles with anxiety and PTSD spiked and I was led to Breathwork. My first Breathwork experience was so earth shattering that I immediately knew I had found my calling and ever since then I've kept exploring, studying and discovering the power of the breath. Loosening the grip of PTSD and getting my dysregulated nervous system in balance I began to feel my energy levels rising and the older layers of emotional blockages dissipating. Witnessing the transformational effects of conscious breathing on myself and others will never cease to amaze me.

I have studied various modalities including Consicous Connected Breathwork, Buteyko Method and Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release. I believe in combination of different techniques; functional breathing, nervous system regulation and deep healing modalities of breath. It is my passion to teach and empower people to use their breath to alleviate emotional issues, improve physical health and cultivate a deeper connection with themselves.
Love,
Anna
